Courses from The Cos Tutor are intended for cosmetology students and licensed beauty professionals only.
These certifications are designed to expand professional knowledge and do not replace state licensing requirements. Students should check their state regulations to confirm whether certification alone allows them to perform specific services.
Coursework must be completed with a score of 85% or higher to receive certification from The Cos Tutor.
Students may enroll in one course at a time. You must complete the course you are currently enrolled in before registering for a new course. If you would like to be unenrolled from a course you may request this by emailing us.
Online certification courses are offered free of charge for student-led learning and do not carry a monetary value. Fees apply only to Master Courses and Educator CEU Courses offered by The Cos Tutor.
In-person master courses are offered through participating beauty schools and educational institutions. If you are interested in attending a master course, please ask your school staff to contact The Cos Tutor.
Certifications issued by The Cos Tutor represent completion of an educational training program and are intended for professional development purposes only. These certifications do not replace state licensing requirements and do not independently authorize the holder to perform regulated cosmetology services.
